Key Responsibilities
– Operate and repair wire drawing machines including fault-finding, fitting and repair of critical parts
– Make or re-machine parts in-house using lathe, mill, grinder
– Perform die changing, setting and maintenance
– Work rotating 8-hour shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays

Requirements
– Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience on wire drawing machines
– Must operate AND repair the machine, including fault-finding, fitting and repair of critical parts
– Able to make or re-machine parts in-house (lathe, mill, grinder)
– Die changing, setting and maintenance
– Knowledge of wire rod and steel grades
– Basic English is required
– No academic results required. You must show proof of running a wire drawing plant, either in Botswana or outside Botswana.
– Willing to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays
