Job Summary
We are looking for hands down person with at least 5 years of verifiable experience in a medium to large armoured power cable manufacturing company. While no specific educational qualification is required, the person should be literate, be able to do basic technical/mathematical calculations. Read and understand technical instructions/ manuals and drawings
Key Responsibilities
- In depth practical knowledge of electric armoured power cable manufacturing process.
- Installation, Commissioning, setting up, and operation of Multiple -spindle Stranding, Armouring and Core Laying Machines
- Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of above machine
- Load scheduling, line output control and product integrity
- In-process inspection and testing of product under processing and Use of metrological instruments.
- Read/understand technical instructions, technical drawings, process charts,
- Familiarity with SABS/BS,/IS standards and their requirements.
- Ability to train and supervise freshly recruited unskilled staff.
