Job Summary
The HR Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function while gaining practical exposure to various HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
– Supporting the day-to-day administration of the Human Resources department.
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
– Assisting with recruitment activities, including vacancy advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination, and applicant communication.
– Supporting employee onboarding, induction, and orientation processes.
– Preparing and maintaining HR-related documents, including contracts, letters, forms, and reports.
– Assisting with attendance, leave, and employee records.
– Supporting training and development activities and maintaining relevant training records.
– Assisting with performance management and employee evaluation processes.
– Providing administrative support for employee engagement and HR initiatives.
– Assisting with the preparation of HR reports, statistics, and presentations.
– Responding to routine employee enquiries and referring complex matters to the appropriate HR personnel.
– Ensuring that employee information is handled with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
– Supporting compliance with company HR policies, procedures, and applicable labour requirements.
– Performing any other duties reasonably assigned by the HR Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements
– A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Recent graduate or currently completing a relevant qualification.
