Basic Function of the Position: The Contract Administrator will be responsible for executing the contract administration process and coordinating all interfaces within the Company and with external parties. The incumbent must ensure process integrity, provide commercial experience and insight, and protect the Company against risk exposure. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Your key accountabilities include: Supporting negotiation of claims, variations, changes, and disputes with contractors in collaboration with Project Management, Legal Department and others as required. Ensuring communication of changes to contracts to all key stakeholders. Ensuring Contractor’s contract administration and subcontracting procedures and processes meet contract requirements. Following up on contractual items at a frequency determined by the contract or process. Developing and administering contracts and procurement compliance plans. Ensuring communication between Company and contractors is consistent with terms and conditions in agreements. Maintaining compliance to all contracts. Ensuring compliance with all legal frameworks and company standards. Minimum Qualifications, Competencies and Experience Required for Effective Performance: Degree in contract management, business administration, engineering, law, accounting, or economics. Minimum 3 years’ prior experience in a contract administration role or a related field. Knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance. Proficient knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to relevant contracts.
