Job Summary
The incumbent will work very closely with the Study team as a whole for the successful implementation of the clinical trials and will be responsible for evaluating infants, children, adolescents, pregnant, postpartum individuals, and adults for study eligibility based on specific inclusion/exclusion criteria in consultation with study physicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate infants, children, adolescents, pregnant, postpartum individuals, and adults for study eligibility based on specific inclusion/exclusion criteria in consultation with study physicians.
- Entry of data into electronic data capture systems.
- Maintains participant confidentiality.
- Involvement in monitoring the Study Recruitment/ Retention Plan.
- Track and document adverse events, side effects of antiretroviral therapy (ART), and clinical responses to interventions.
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and institutional review board (IRB) protocols to protect participant rights.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing with experience in clinical research conduct.
- Must be knowledgeable on HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
- Must be registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Botswana.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience.
