The Batawana Beef Abattoir is advertising the post of Adviser on meat HACCP (Hazardous Analytical Control Point) system and GHM (Good Hygiene Management) adviser for export the meat to Kuwaiti, South Africa, Mozambique, Angola and Namibia (transit), Ngami-Land Beef cleared for Namibia Transit opening Door to Angola Markets. The officer will be based in Botswana at Batawana Beef Botswana Abattoir.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on meat HACCP (Hazardous Analytical Control Point) system
• Advising on GHM (Good Hygiene Management)
• Supporting export of meat to various countries including Kuwaiti, South Africa, Mozambique, Angola and Namibia (transit)
• Ensuring compliance with Namibia Transit requirements for Angola Markets

Requirements

• National Diploma and certificate Environmental health and safety or Food and Meat Hygiene quality control and both Certificate Entecom safer food HACCP for supervisors training and certificate EU-SADEC Economic partnership Agreement Implementation Support Programme in Botswana.
• Good Hygiene practices (GHP)
• Good manufacturing practices (GMP) and minimum at least 9 years working experience
