       – Junior Business Data Analyst

Main Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented and motivated Junior Data Business Analyst to join our Government Diamond Valuation team. The successful candidate will support business intelligence, valuation data management, data analysis, reporting and research activities to enable informed decision-making. The role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for working with data.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will, among others:

  • Support the collection, validation and analysis of business and valuation data.
  • Maintain master data integrity and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Assist in valuation data management and reconciliation processes.
  • Analyse pricing trends and prepare reports to support business decisions.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and presentations for management.
  • Conduct statistical and market analysis to identify trends and business insights.
  • Support valuation negotiations and consolidation of valuation information.
  • Prepare and maintain databases and ensure data quality.
  • Perform research and provide recommendations to improve business processes.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field.

At least 2 years’ relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, market research or a related analytical role.

  • Microsoft BI
  • Knowledge of data management and reporting tools.

  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • High levels of integrity and professionalism.
