Job Description

Makoro Brick & Tile Plant in Palapye invites applications from suitably qualified, self-motivated,
energetic and results-driven individuals to fill the following positions.

Main Purpose of the Job

To provide hands-on general maintenance and engine overhaul of the company fleet of machines and equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Cambridge / GCSE Certificate
• National Trade Certificate III or IV in Diesel Mechanics
• Driver’s Licence
• 5+ years’ experience as a Diesel Fitter/Mechanic in a manufacturing/mining/heavy plant industry
• Knowledge of hydraulic, diesel systems, pneumatic components
• Experience working on heavy duty diesel engines

Main Duties

• Manage general maintenance and repairs of fleet equipment
• Oversee day-to-day planning and scheduling with departments
• Perform troubleshooting and breakdown repairs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Ensure workshop safety compliance
