Job Description

Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) invites applications from suitably qualified and results-oriented professionals to fill the following positions:

Main Purpose of the Job

Respond to calls, emails, SMS and other communications from external stakeholders requiring information or clarification on BEC services.

Key Performance Areas

  • Answer inbound calls courteously.
  • Respond to inquiries via email, SMS and electronic platforms.
  • Provide first-level responses using scripted FAQs where applicable.
  • Log and maintain records of all inquiries.
  • Escalate complex queries to relevant officers.
  • Conduct telephone surveys as instructed.
  • Provide administrative and clerical assistance as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate in Administration, Business, Education or related field.
  • Diploma is an added advantage.
  • If Certificate: Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • If Diploma: No prior work experience required.
