Cheetah Conservation Botswana is a registered charity committed to wildlife conservation. We are inviting applications for the position of Executive Director, based in Gaborone. Suitable candidates need to have a thorough appreciation of the organisation, a sound understanding of conservation-related technical issues, particularly those focused on carnivore conservation, and an ability to think innovatively to develop relevant conservation approaches.

VACANCY: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Academic Requirements: Minimum MSc in environmental science, community development, or a related field. Minimum 15-20 years relevant experience, including time in an organisational, charity leadership role.

Skills and Experience Required: Project management, Strategic planning, Scientific research, Community development, Environmental education, NGO governance, Stakeholder engagement, Financial management, Human resource management, International fundraising, Proposal writing, Communications. Clean driver’s license essential.
