Role Purpose

Reporting to the Creative and Cultural Development Manager, the Grants and Funds Administration Executive is responsible for:

·        Identifying alternative sources of funding for the Council, implementing approved initiatives to leverage alternative sources of funding and facilitating the administration of the Council’s grants in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and rules.

Increase in alternative sources of funding for the Council.
Sustainable funding streams for the Council.
Clear, transparent, fair, and equitable grant administration policies, procedures, and rules.
Impactful outcomes from grant recipients which contribute to the growth of the sector.
Strict adherence to grant administration policies, procedures, and rules.
Complete and accurate accounting and records of all grant administration activities.
Timely and accurate reporting on the grant and funds administration activities.
Achievement of strategic goals and targets within set timelines and budgets.

Key Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in in Business, Commerce or Finance related fields from a recognised institution. An additional accounting or finance qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA would be an added advantage.

·       A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience with at least three (3) years in grants administration, accounting, or related field.
