Key Performance Areas

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
    Create marketing plans to achieve objectives such as brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
  • Manage Communications:
    Oversee internal/external communications. Ensure strategic, consistent messaging.
  • Public Relations:
    Plan and execute PR strategies to enhance public image and stakeholder relations.
  • Produce PR Materials:
    Prepare press releases, speeches, pitch letters, case studies, and support materials.
  • Handle Media Relations:
    Liaise with media, manage outreach, and oversee PR events.
  • Resolve Issues Promptly:
    Address PR-related issues efficiently.
  • Content Creation:
    Develop high-quality content for digital platforms and print.
  • Campaign Management:
    Plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns.
  • Event Planning:
    Organize product launches, press conferences, and promotional events.
  • Market Research:
    Conduct research to identify marketing trends and opportunities.
  • Budget Management:
    Ensure cost-effective marketing strategies.
  • Oversee Crisis Communication:
    Ensure consistent crisis messaging across platforms.
  • Spokesperson Duties:
    Represent the company at events and media engagements.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead the marketing and communications team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    Analyze media coverage and communications performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • A master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing/communications/PR with proven success.
  • At least 5 years in a management role preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in digital tools (Google Analytics, CMS, SEO).
  • Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.
  • Leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in media relations and campaign analytics.
