The National Agricultural Research and Development Institute (NARDI) is a Botswana government – funded research and development institute incorporated in 2015 as a company limited by guarantee. The Institute was established to conduct hiqh quality needs based research and development across the agri cultural value chain for the benefit of the economy, the agricultural industry, government and contribute to the body of knowledge in science and agricultural research NARDI has a country wide decentralised presence through a network of Regional Research and Innovation Centres. Field stations and Experimental sites. NARDI wishes to recruit highly skilled and innovative individuals with a passion for excellence and ability to drive the transformation of the Institute into a high-performance research and development organisation. Transformation Specialist X 1
Main Purpose of the Job To plan, direct, coordinate and organise major initiatives aimed at the organisational, business, technology and cultural transformation of NARDI to ensure that such transformation projects are in line with NARDI’S strategic objectives and to provide project management services to Project Champions (departmental and divisional heads) to facilitate the successful implementation of projects leading to the transformation of NARDI in accordance with strategic and organisational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in strategic management. Project Management, or a closely related discipline.
Experience:
- At least eight (8) years post qualification experience.
Competencies:
- Analytical skills. Strategic Focus; Stakeholder management Negotiation skills and Planning and Execution
