TEMPORARY ASSISTANT TEACHER/ TEACHER AIDE IN PRIMARY/ SECONDARY SCHOOLS

(Tenable in different Schools across the below listed North West Sub Regions)

  1. Shakawe Sub Region
  2. Maun Sub Region
  3. Gumare Sub Region

Applications are invited from suitably qualified unemployed Graduate Teachers and Teacher Aides to teach in Primary and Secondary Schools under the North West Region as Temporary’ Teacher/ Teacher Aide. This invitation is open only to BOTSWANA CITIZENS who have a Teaching qualification and would like to teach in North West Region.

SALARY SCALE:

  • Certificate Holders – B3 (P59, 412 – P69,744) PA
  • Diploma Holders – C4 (P98, 352 – Pill, 936) PA
  • Degree Holders – C3 (P115, 260- P136, 812) PA

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Teaching or aiding of Learners based on prescribed syllabus, supervising and monitoring of learning by students and supporting Management on implementation of teaching and learning strategies as well as extra-curricular activities. IMPORTANT:

Graduates should clearly indicate their Teaching subjects or Specialty. Those with previous Teaching experience as Temporary Teachers should indicate the schools they were engaged at and for how long.

CONTRACT:

Successful Applicants will be offered either a 1 year contract, or a 3 months contract depending on the nature of opportunity which has arose at Schools. Severance benefits wall be payable at the end of the contract using current Employment Act & Regulations.

  3. 2 latest references
  4. Certified copies of Academic transcripts
