purpose
To create, debug, verify, maintain and update technical test scripts to run automated testing. Is responsible for testing the functionality of a system designed to address business requirements to prevent errors/defects in the live system through the implementation of change control and improvement
experience and qualifications
- Minimum Qualification – Information Technology related certification or diploma in testing or automation
- Preferred Qualification – Relevant degree and/or relevant certification including ISEB or ISTQB Certification; TMap Next Engineer; ISTQB Advanced Analyst
- Experience – 3 to 5 years related technical experience including three years automation experience
responsibilities
- Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards
- Testing Project Activities
- Manage testing analysis for quality assurance and defect management
- Ensure test analysis plan execution is achieved
- Conduct system analysis coding and impact analysis
- Ensure corporate governance controls are in place according Information Technology Governance Models
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
- Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
