– Technical Officer – OVC/DREAMS x1

Job Summary
Reporting to the Technical Director, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the community-based Adolescents and Young People activities under the Expansion of Community Based Interventions for HIV and AIDS in Botswana project. This position is based in Gaborone.

Key Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and implementation of the community based OVC/DREAMS activities under the ExCAB project.
📌Support the Technical Director to coordinate the delivery of prevention services to OVC and AGYW
📌Provide day to day guidance to districts on appropriate technical and programmatic approaches for HIV prevention services including sexual reproductive health (SRH) services, and gender-based violence (GBV) for OVC and AGYW
📌Work with the Technical Director to develop strategies to reach AGYW and OVC
📌Provide guidance on DREAMS implementation standards and ensure that service delivery is closely tracked to monitor completion of services
📌 Work with District Coordinators to develop performance improvement plans for OVC/DREAMS indicators
📌Recommend evidence-based improvements in the delivery of OVC/DREAMS interventions
📌Conduct trainings on project curriculums (OVC SOPs, MER services, GBV prevention) and provide post-training supportive supervision and mentoring to HPP ExCAB staff
📌Document project results and impacts in various forms, including media stories, lessons learned, success stories
📌Directly supports OVC project activities monitoring through tracking weekly targets and developing performance improvement strategies
📌Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
📌Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Key Requirements:
🖊️Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Social Sciences, or any related field
🖊️Trained on Life skills+, ELA, R2W, Safe Space Guides, CBIM, SASA! OVC SOPs
🖊️At least a minimum of 3 years in OVC/DREAMS programming
