Job Description

Strides of Success (Pty) Ltd, is looking for a Technical Manager (Mechanical) at their paper manufacturing plant at Plot 33184, Nkoyaphiri, Mogoditshane, Botswana.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation and maintenance of the paper machine, and pulp mill.

Qualifications and Experiences
• Diploma/Degree in mechanical engineering, or any equivalent discipline.
• A minimum of 20 years of working experience in paper machine and pulp mill in senior manager level.
• Experience required in projects, and maintenance of paper machine, pulp mill and its utility equipment.
• Experience in Kraft paper Machine, Tissue Paper Machine, Mold Machines, ETP, Boiler, and pulp mill equipment.
• Self-motivated and well disciplined.

Roles /duties
• Manage technical and maintenance team of paper plant.
• Manage inventory control & optimization of paper plant operation.
• Manage operation & maintenance cost within prescribed norms.
• Strategic planning and execution of paper plant up gradation and renovations.
• Manage the training and development of personnel
