DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING
TEMPORARY FULL TIME/PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANTS / DEMONSTRATORS IN URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING (2 POSITIONS)
VACANCY NO: FET/AP05/2022
Duties: Successful candidates will be required to assist with the Planning Studios, Planning Techniques and Theoretical courses, practical, labs and tutorials in Urban and Regional Planning and carry out any other duties assigned by the HOD.
Requirements: Applicants must have: (i) a minimum of 4 year B.A. or B.S c. Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Design or any equivalent discipline; (ii) A minimum of 2(ii) or a GPA of 3 on a 5-point scale. (iii) Applicants with a Degree in Urban and Regional Planning should have an average pass of 65% in Planning Studios; (iv) experience with GIS, CAD and design techniques at inter-mediate level (v) Membership of PITP/RTPI or any other recognized professional body will be an added advantage. A minimum of one year university teaching experience or two years of professional practice will be an added advantage.
