Applications are invited for the position of
Surveyor / Survey Engineer

Daily Responsibilities

• Work directly with Site Engineers, Quantity surveyors, project managers and foremen ensuring all are informed of activities on site.
• Setting out and realign from design data sets.
• Use of AutoCad, Civil 3D to edit and produce field data
• Provide information for Interim and final quantities.
• Monitor quantities using GPS.
• Upload, maintain and troubleshoot GPS systems.
• Checking grades and survey layout.
• Aid field staff using 3D machine control.
• As built File Management.
• Monitor and track project costs.
• Undertaking Preliminary Surveys and topographical surveys.
• Junior staff and interns
• Inform and advise the Head Office of any methods or machines required to fast track Surveys.

Qualifications And Experience

• A Bsc in Survey degree or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be registered with BIG.
• Registration with ERB is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in construction and Civil Engineering projects.
• Must have worked in Roads and pipeline projects and conversant with GPS and total stations.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D along with skills / field experience will be considered.
