The National Agricultural Research and Development Institute (NARDI) is a Botswana government – funded research and development institute incorporated in 2015 as a company limited by guarantee. The Institute was established to conduct hiqh quality needs based research and development across the agri cultural value chain for the benefit of the economy, the agricultural industry, government and contribute to the body of knowledge in science and agricultural research NARDI has a country wide decentralised presence through a network of Regional Research and Innovation Centres. Field stations and Experimental sites. NARDI wishes to recruit highly skilled and innovative individuals with a passion for excellence and ability to drive the transformation of the Institute into a high-performance research and development organisation. • Stock Attendant X 7

Main Purpose of the Job:

To provide basic technical assistance in livestock management and assist researchers as required during field trials.

Qualifications:

Junior Certificate (JC) with an understanding of Animal Health and Production.

Experience:

Five (5) years post qualification experience coupled with continuous experience as a stockman and with proven record of performance ex
cellence.

Competencies:

Procedural awareness and understanding, diagnostic ability, attention to detail
