DUTIES

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and masking metal and wood components.
• Apply high-quality finishes to various surfaces using spray guns and other application tools.
• Mix and match paints, primers, and finishes to meet specific color and texture requirements.
• Maintain and clean equipment, including spray guns, booths, and compressors, to ensure longevity and safety.
• Inspect finished products for defects, runs, or inconsistencies to maintain high quality standards.
• Handle workshop logistics and occasional site visits (requires valid driver’s licence).
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and hazardous material disposal.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or furniture spray painting.
• Proficiency in various coating techniques for both metal (anti-corrosive, enamel) and wood (varnish, lacquer).
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for color consistency and surface texture.
• Valid driver’s licence for field tasks and deliveries.
• Excellent time management and the ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
