Job Description
Bamalete Lutheran Hospital is a reputable; very busy level 1 District Mission Hospital providing a range of health care services. The Hospital invites applications from suitable candidates for the following positions:
Position: SPECIALIST ANAESTHETIST
Salary scale: E2 (P407, 484 – P423, 972) per annum
Qualifications: First Grade Specialist in Anaesthesiology
Experience: At least 1 year post qualification.
Duties & Responsibilities: All basic duties related to the medical department of a busy District Hospital:
• Heads the Anaesthesia department and is responsible for the efficiency of the department. This includes decisive ward rounds, counselling of patients and relatives, ordering investigations, referring patients to other departments or facilities.
• Gives anaesthesia to patients, supervises anaesthesia given by others and advises on the scope safely possible
• Competent in all anesthetic techniques
• Assists in the management of critical patients
