Barloworld Equipment is a wholly owned subsidiary of Barloworld Equipment Southern Africa, we are the sole dealership of Caterpillar earthmoving equipment in Southern Africa. Barloworld Equipment Botswana would like to invite suitable candidates for the following positions tenable in Ghanzi & Gaborone.

SHEQ OFFICER (GHANZI)
Key Outputs

⦁ Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment that complies with current health and safety legislation
Investigate and report on all work-related injuries and vehicle road accidents
Maintain/control Contamination standards for areas of responsibility
Conduct site safety inductions
Prepare SHE reports as required
Compile and maintain safety files for the site

Requirements & Competencies

⦁ Minimum Diploma Occupational Health &. Safety
⦁ At least 3 years of experience in health & safety management
⦁ Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
⦁ Computer literate (MS Office)
⦁ Valid Drivers license – Class B
⦁ Judgment and decision-making
Good verbal and written communication skills
Investigative orientation (probing / information seeking)
