Location: Khoemacau Copper Mine, Botswana

Overview:

Kalcon Pty Ltd is hiring a SHE Representative to promote workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance at the Khoemacau Paste Backfill Project. This role requires proactive risk management and the enforcement of safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Enforce compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazards, and provide corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees.
• Ensure that PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is used correctly.
• Prepare and submit safety reports to management.

Requirements:

• SHE Representative certification or relevant safety qualification.
• Previous experience in a safety role within a mining or construction environment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and risk management.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct safety training and enforce compliance.
