Job Description
The Botswana Defence Force is looking forward to employ suitably qualified Non-uniformed Personnel for the following positions:
POSITION TENABLE AT GLEN VALLEY
Qualifications: Trade Test B or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Al least two (2) years’ experience as Technical Assistant (Electncal) at B3/2 salary scale or equivalent role.
Salary scale: B1 (P91.608 – P108,228) per annum.
Leave: 20 working days per annum

- Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% while Employee pays 5%).
- Housing and Upkeep Allowance of P398.80 per month.
Job purpose: Provides electncal maintenance services in the BDF to ensure quality service delivery
Job Duties and Responsibilities
a Perform electrical and maintenance activities in the BDF to ensure delivery of quality welding services
- Inspect buildings and other structures to ensure timely preventative maintenance.
- Maintain electrical section inventory to prevent loss.
d Compile and provides material specifications to guide decision making and adequate supply
