Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing dispute registration documents in accordance with the legal and administrative standards of the Tribunal, to ensure their safety, security and accessibility and support speedy resolution and timely decision-making.
• Filing and storing records in accordance with Tribunal standards to ensure safety, security and accessibility.
• Researching and conducting regular reviews of records procedures and processes to identify gaps in information security and safety, gauge compliance with legal and professional standards, and present reports with recommendations.
• Monitoring and tracking file movement electronically and manually to ensure speedy retrieval of information for action and decision-making.
• Archiving old records in accordance with Tribunal policies and public records management requirements to ensure compliance and retention for future reference.
• Collaborating with other knowledge management professionals in the administration of justice to standardise records management and correct discrepancies.
• Supervising the Reporter and the Tribunal Clerk, ensuring they are guided, supported and enabled to deliver quality results in line with Tribunal standards.
• Keeping abreast of developments in records management to ensure continuous professional development and quality records management services to the Tribunal.

Requirements

• A recognised Degree in Archives & Records Management, Information Management Systems or equivalent.
• Current membership of a recognised information or knowledge management professional body.
