Job Description
To coordinate, organise, and control the procurement of supplies, services and works to meet the BOCRA’s requirements in the most cost-effective, transparent and fair manner.
The timely and accurate processing of procurement records and inventory management records in accordance with Inventory Management Policy, Public Procurement Act and Regulations.
Key Performance Areas
1. Management of the procurement process.
2. Optimal availability of goods, services and works to user departments.
3. Cost effective procurement of goods, services and works in accordance with specifications and Terms of References.
4. Adherence to laid down procedures and regulations.
5. Minimise audit queries on the acquisition of goods, services and works.
6. Effective Management of Contracts and Service Level Agreements.
Security of Supplies/Inventory
7.Security of Supplies/Inventory.
8.Availability and accuracy of documentation.
9.Minimise queries from suppliers and creditors.
Education:
The applicant should have:
·Degree in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management or “CIPS Level 6 or equivalent from a recognized institution.
· Valid CIPS Membership.
Experience:
Applicant should have at least five (5) years’ relevant post qualification experience, two (2) of which should be at supervisory level.
