TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT
SENIOR NATIONAL GRID CONTROLLER (x1)- GABORONE
Job Purpose
To plan, monitor, direct and coordinate all operational activities of National Grid to ensure a continuous, safe, efficient, economic and reliable power supply to customers in accordance with Southern African Power Pool and local Regulatory Standards.
Position Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and at least four (4) years post qualification experience in Transmission systems operations environment; OR
• Diploma in Electrical or equivalent with at least seven (7) years post qualification experience in Transmission systems operations environment.
• Senior Authorisation up to 400Kv level is compulsory.
• Professional membership of the Engineering Registration Board (ERB) is required.
• Class B Driver’s License is required.
