Senior Manager, ICT – Botswana Oil

Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established to achieve the Government’s economic objectives of ensuring the security of fuel supply, managing government strategic fuel reserves, and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. We are looking for outstanding and driven individuals to take up these exciting and challenging roles:

SENIOR MANAGER, ICT

The role is responsible for developing and implementing ICT strategies and policies that support the organisation’s mandate and overarching organisational strategy. Furthermore, the position provides leadership, vision and direction for developing and implementing an enabling information and communications technology environment to use ICT to deliver the organisation’s services optimally.

Key Performance Areas

1. Digital Transformation
2. Data integrity and security
3. User satisfaction (e.g. Staff, Customers, Third parties)
4. Delivery of strategic ICT projects
5. System integration and minimal system downtime
6. Reliability and availability of ICT support
7. Cyber Security
8. Availability (uptime) of ICT systems
9. Usability and effectiveness of ICT systems

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area or

any related field. Additional qualifications such as Microsoft Certified Engineer or

CISCO Certified Professional would be an added advantage.

Experience: At least ten (10) years of relevant experience, five (5) years of which should have been at the management level.
