FACULTY OF HUMANITIES – CHINESE STUDIES PROGRAMME
SENIOR LECTURER I LECTURER IN CHINESE STUDIES (CONTRACT) REF*: VACANCY NO: FH/CS01/2024
Senior Lecturer Requirements: Applicants should have:
(i) a PhD in Chinese Studies, Teaching Mandarin Chinese as a Second/ Foreign Language, or related field;
(ii) at least 3 years relevant teaching experience at a university or comparable institution;
(v) an excellent cumulative and sustained record of research and publications with at least 6 pieces of research products published by recognised publishers, 4 of which must be articles in refereed/accredited journals in internationally recognised indexing databases.
Lecturer Requirements: Applicants should possess:
(i) a PhD in Chinese Studies,Teaching Mandarin Chinese as a Second/ Foreign Language, or related field;
(ii) show evidence of engagement in research. The following will be added advantages:
(i) evidence of governance and social engagement;
(ii) teaching experience at a university or comparable institution;
