Job Description

Introduction
Responsible for ownership of assets, liabilities & insurance growth of the branch through proactive marketing and selling of products & services, to existing and new clients, through effective management of the branch team to always deliver efficient service. To administer and ensure compliance with all sales practices whilst maintaining required productivity levels within the branch.

Job description
Sales Focus (Weight: %)
• Manage own daily sales activity grid in accordance with allocated sales targets, maximising each prospect for primary and secondary sales.
• Manages the sales team in the branch to proactively market and sell all deposits and loan products, insurance and digital channels.
• Manages the branch team sales queue
• Arranges branch sales blitz to drive customer acquisition
• Sources business from corporates.
• Prepares and submits credit applications for the retail clients
• Leads presentations to potential and existing clients on all scheme products.
• Responsible for the growth and profitability of the Branch customer base by achieving and exceeding branch targets.
• Responsible for strategy enforcement of both upsell and cross selling of products and services

Customer Focus
• Relationship and Stakeholder Management
• Ensuring that internal clients are handled in a professional manner and provided with accurate information.
• Provides after sales care
• Perform and document complete interview with customers while obtaining and providing all required documentation as applicable to loan process.
• Conducts regular scheduled client visits with the branch sales team
• Ensures continuous follow up and branch visitations to identify problems/complaints and to resolve them timely.

Colleague (People Management)
• Ensures retail bankers sales targets are achieved.
• Ensure optimization of people capabilities within the team
• Ensure effective implementation of performance and talent management within the team (reinforce performance culture)
• Staff development (training and coaching)
• Attend to grievance and disciplinary matters within the team

Compliance and Conduct
• To be Anti-Money Laundering Complaint
• Know Your Customer
• Effectively implements of the bank’s Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy.

Minimum requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business or any other related field
• COP Long & Short
• Certificate in Credit/ Banking will be an added advantage
• Sales Training/Certification

Experience & Skills
• 8 years’ banking experience of which 3 years should be at management level Knowledge of the banking products and services
• Business acumen in Operations & Administration Procedures
• Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Passion to work with people
