Team Holdings on behalf of a leading company that specialises in the sales and marketing of healthcare and laboratory products and services is seeking suitable candidates for the following positions.
Sales Executive: Ophthalmology and Optometry
Overview:
An Ophthalmology and Optometry Sales Executive is responsible for selling ophthalmic and optometric products and services to healthcare organizations, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices. The role involves identifying potential clients, building relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. The Ophthalmology and Optometry Sales Executive must be knowledgeable about the products and services they are selling, as well as the healthcare industry and the needs of their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching and identifying potential clients in the ophthalmology and optometry industry
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Demonstrating the benefits of products and services to potential clients
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Providing after-sales support and ensuring customer retention
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in ophthalmic and optometric products and services
- Attending industry conferences and events to promote products and services
- Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and technical support, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the healthcare industry and specifically within the ophthalmology and optometry space
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of ophthalmic and optometric products and services
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Ability to travel as needed
- Goal-oriented and driven to meet sales targets
