- Sales Executive: Healthcare Information Technology (IT)
Overview
This is a superb opportunity for either a recent IT graduate or someone with more experience either in a similar role, or wanting to transition into a more sales-based role from a technical or manufacturing background. You will be responsible for promoting and selling medical information technology products and services to healthcare organizations, hospitals, clinics, and medical practices. The role involves identifying potential clients, developing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Healthcare IT Sales Executive must be knowledgeable about the healthcare industry, as well as the latest technological advances in medical IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching and identifying potential clients in the healthcare industry
- Generating leads through networking, cold calling, and other methods
- Meeting with clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Demonstrating the benefits of medical IT products and services to potential clients
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Providing after-sales support and ensuring customer retention
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in medical IT and the healthcare industry
- Attending industry conferences and events to promote products and services
- Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and technical support, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Familiarity with medical IT systems and technology
- Ability to travel as needed
- Goal-oriented and driven to meet sales targets
