Job Overview:
They are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will generate new business, maintain relationships with existing clients, and promote construction equipment to potential customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, an in-depth knowledge of construction equipment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
– A well-detailed knowledge of construction equipment, including different types of machinery (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, cranes, etc.), their specifications, uses, and maintenance requirements.
– Updated on the latest trends in construction equipment, new technologies, and innovations.
– Familiar with various manufacturers and their reputations, warranties, and customer service offerings is important.
– The ability to identify and pursue potential clients, from contractors and construction companies to government agencies.
– Skilled in negotiating prices, terms, and financing options.
-The ability to close sales by addressing any objections and ensuring the buyer is confident in the purchase decision.
– Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
– The candidate should be able to explain technical specifications in a way that customers can understand.
-To address customer needs and match the right equipment to those needs.
Understanding customer requirements and pain points is key to offering the best equipment solutions.
– Explaining product features, benefits, and the terms of sale effectively, both in person and through other channels (email, phone, etc.).
– Offering ongoing support post-sale for service, training, and troubleshooting can set a salesperson apart.
– Handling customer complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
Be able to handle multiple customers, follow-ups, and deals at once, often with different timelines.
– Using customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track leads, sales, and follow-ups.
– Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and targets
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, sale, Marketing, or a related field
– 3-5 years of experience in sales, in the construction industry
– Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
– Strong communication and negotiation skills
– Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
– Self-motivated and driven to succeed
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office and CRM software
– Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
