Description:
Purpose of the Role
Provides subject matter expertise in the area of responsibility and supports the implementation of effective safety, health and environmental management systems.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Recommends and incorporates cost saving initiatives into budgets
- Conduct assurance against safety, health and environmental standards
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with all key stakeholders and partners to ensure achievement of business objectives
- Monitor and report on safety, health and environmental performance
- Stimulate safety, health and environmental awareness and encourage positive attitudes and behaviours
- Support the risk assessment process
Other Job Responsibilities
- Manage own key effectiveness areas in line with the Individual Development Plan
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
Experience
| 2 years post-qualification safety health and environmental management experience |
Legal Certification/Professional Registration
