Education:A Diploma in Security Management or equivalent

We are looking for a versatile, driven and dynamic individual to join our team as Risk Officer. The individual will provide effective and efficient Physical Security services to minimise potential risk of losses to the company in accordance to DTCB policies and procedures.

Key Activities:

• Adheres to all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
• Carries out surveillance activities through the utilization of CCTV to ensure optimal protection of property.
• Controls access through the utilisation of Security Systems and monitor access to the various sections on site.
• Carries out physical escort to ensure security of the product.
• Carries out procedural requirements relating to security of imported and exported goods including physically observing of all relevant activities.
• Carries out appropriate security floor clearing procedure, including documentation and handover of diamonds.
• Conducts investigations of policy and procedural violations and compiles reports with recommendations.
• Carries out security system tests as per standard procedure.
• Puts measures in place to protect the company product and assets.
• Adheres to diamond risk policies and procedures.
• Maintains security of diamonds by applying lock-down and security procedures.
• Carries out physical clearance including sealing of diamond containers and other strategic points.
• Responds to security alarms, investigate causes and take appropriate actions.
• Investigates all incidents captured on CCTV including reviewing of recorded CCTV material and carries out detailed investigations.
• Checks physical integrity and security of premises and assess risks of intrusion and incidents.
• Maintains security and investigation of information both in digital recording, security registers and documentation.
• Completes and updates all security registers and documentations.
• Identifies all security risks, collects and analyses data and updates the risk assessment tools to determine the level risk and assurance.
• Conducts formal risk assessment as necessary.
• Identifies potential factors that affect the consequences and evaluation of controls currently in place.
• Maintains high level security risk register.
• Identifies risk areas and make recommendations to ensure control.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Diploma in Security Management or equivalent.
• 2 years post qualification experience in Security Management environment.
