Job Description

Serowe District Council is inviting submissions of Expressions of Interest (EOI) from 100% citizen owned companies or 100% citizen joint ventures to submit proposals for expressing their interests to participate as potential strategic partner in provision of management and monitoring of water usage, maintenance of plumbing infrastructure and installation of water saving equipment’s with view to achieve better efficiency and saving in respect of the consumption of water.

Council is overwhelmed with high water usage and wastage which ultimately lead to high water bills on its facilities and therefore there is urgent need for engagement of service providers who can assist with infrastructure that can help with water conservation and water bill reduction. Due to current financial constraints, council is not able to do the necessary required maintenance works that will facilitate reduction in water usage and water bills hence the need to partner with service providers.

On the basis of the assessment of the received expressions, short listed companies or joint ventures may then be invited to either to tender or selected for the required service in terms of the Public Procurement Act, 2021. All companies responding must submit the required documentation listed below, which will be used to derive a shortlist of eligible companies.

Requirements

  • Submission of an application letter for Expression of Interest. It should include postal address, contact numbers, physical address of business and email address.
  • Local companies should be registered with the Public Procurement and Regulatory Authority.
  • Submit a valid Tax Clearance Certificate or TIN Number (to be verified online with BURS)
  • Submit a valid Company extract from companies and intellectual Property Authority (CIPA). (To be verified online).
  • Submit a Certified copy of identity card (Omang) for all Directors and shareholders
