Job Title: Radiographer/Sonographer
Location: Selibe Phikwe
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced radiographer/sonographer to join our team at Agile Private Hospital Selibe Phikwe. We are a leading private hospital in Selebi Phikwe, Botswana, and we offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
❖ Perform a variety of radiographic and sonographic procedures, including X-rays, ultrasounds, and CT scans
❖ Prepare patients for procedures and provide them with information about their exams.
❖ Position patients for procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
❖ Process and evaluate images to produce high-quality diagnostic reports.
❖ Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
❖ Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care..
❖ Undertake quality control checks on X-ray equipment in order to ensure quality assurance and audit initiatives.
❖ Liaise with relevant bodies to ensure necessary licenses are acquired for the radiology unit
❖ Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
❖ Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
❖ Diploma in Radiography or Sonography
❖ Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council
Possess current practising licence
❖ Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiography or sonography
❖ Excellent knowledge of techniques in general and specialized Radio diagnostics, Computed tomography (CT) and Fluoroscopy.
❖ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
❖ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
