DESCRIPTION
The Botswana Defence Force is looking forward to employ suitably qualified Non-Uniformed Personnel for the following positions:
RADIOGRAPHER I C1 X2
Qualifications: Experience: Salary scale: Leave: Certification: Benefits:
Degree in Radiography
At least two (2) years as Radiographer II at C2 salary scale
C1 (P174,672– P207,792)
30 working days per annum
Must be registered with Botswana Health Professions Council
Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% while Employee pays 50%)
Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% while Employee pays 5%) c. Housing and Upkeep Allowance of P309.00 per month
d. Scarce Skill Allowance of 20% of basic monthly salary
Job purpose: To manage the provision of diagnostic imaging services in the Botswana Defence Force.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
a. Provide advice on the implementation of radiography policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance to set standards.
b. Provide radiological orientation to new hospital staff in the BDF.
c. Diagnose faults on all the equipment by performing various practical maintenance of the equipment.
d. Collaborate with clinicians to facilitate imaging-guided invasive procedures.
e. Monitor and evaluate adherence to radiation protection set standards to ensure workplace safety.
f. Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to ensure effective imaging services. Key Competencies:
