Designation: Quantity Surveyor

Introduction

Concor Botswana invites applications for the position of Quantity Surveyor at Concor Botswana (PTY) Ltd attainable at our joint venture project based in Francistown. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the execution of all Q works on site.

The position is based at the Botswana Oil Francistown Depot and will be on a Limited Duration Contract (“LDC”) basis for the duration of the project approximately 12 months.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification Requirements

  • A degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Driver’s Licence and a clear Criminal Record

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 ears’ experience in the building construction industry at senior level.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word & Outlook)
  • Ability to read, understand and organise construction Plans & Specifications
  • Ability to co-ordinate tenant installation and subcontractors to meet B0 dates
  • Must have a working knowledge of JD Edwards and CCS estimating and planning modules
  • Good working knowledge of various conditions of contract specifications (e.g. FIDIC, GCC, NEC & BCC
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills plus ability to work as part of a team
