Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established to achieve the Government’s economic objectives of ensuring the security of fuel supply, managing government strategic fuel reserves, and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. We are looking for outstanding and driven individuals to take up these exciting and challenging roles:

PROJECTS GOVERNANCE OFFICER X2

Reporting to the Senior Manager – PMO, the role is responsible for supporting the provision of actionable information and data with respect to delivering the portfolio of projects. Furthermore, the role provides direction and defines decision-making procedures and metrics for validating impacts on the project. It enables the project team to deliver on requirements and creates a forum for issue resolution to occur in a timely manner.

 

Requirements

   Key Performance Areas

1. Administration of Projects

2. Maintenance of user tools, processes and procedures.

3. Collation, production and management of reporting documentation

4. Management of information systems tracking payment schedules

5. Data collection for management reporting

6. Programme office tools and systems

7. Change control processes and quality standards

8. Facilitation and management of the resolution of risks

9. Project investment submissions

 

Position Requirements 

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering or any related field.

Professional/Technical: PMI or Prince2 certifications (PMP – Project Management Professional) CAPM – Certified Associate in Project Management)

would be an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification relevant experience in project management with proficiency in Project Management software and related tools

(MS Project)
