Bolux Group requires the services of a qualified, experienced;
PROJECT AND NEW PRODUCTS COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Senior Sales and Marketing Administrator, you shall have the responsibility to facilitate the development and successful launch of new products from concept through commercialization.
Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:
• Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required standards.
• Identify market opportunities, develop product strategies and ensure that new products align with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end process of new product development (NPD) projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and reporting.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and monitor progress against these plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, procurement, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and make timely decisions to keep projects on track.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps in the market and opportunities for new product development.
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and other relevant departments to develop product concepts, specifications, and phototypes.
• Manage the product development process, including ideation, concept development, feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Lead the development of product positioning, branding, and packaging in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Oversee the development of product launch strategies, including go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
• Analyze data to determine target audiences, market positioning and potential areas for growth.
• Coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
• Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects, ensuring that teams have the necessary tools, equipment, and support to achieve project goals.
• Ensure that all new products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the new product development process.
• Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with Food Safety, Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have a Degree in Project Management /Product Development/ Engineering Marketing/ Business Administration & Communications or equivalent. A minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in project management, product development or marketing is required. Experience in the FMCG and manufacturing industry will be an added advantage. Knowledge of ISO standards and Computer literacy are essential, in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
