Job Description

The Director of Public Service Management (DPSM) seeks tho services of a talented, self- driven, experienced and highly motivated citizen of Botswana to fill the following vacant position:
VACANCY: Program and Office Administrator (I post)
SALARY SCALE: D3 (P279.66000-P308.328.00).
LEAVE: 30 working day* per annum.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: The appointment it on contract of thirty vx (36) Month*

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS PROFILE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admimstrauon/Management. Project
Management/ Human Resource Management/Development or related qualification from a recognised Institution.
Post Graduate Certification and Master’s Degree In Business Admlnlstratlon/Management. Project Management/Human Resource Management/Development or related qualification from a recognised Institution will be an added advantage.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must have at least eight (8) years’ experience In the Public Service, parastatal organisation or the private sector. 2 years of which should have been at 04 level in the public service or equivalent in the private sector or parastatal organization.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide administrative and technical support to the program executive and project team in order to ensure that Human Resources programs and selected projects meet objectives, run smoothly and are completed on time and the project team know their expectations.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1.Provide daily support to the program and project teams as determined by management.
2.Serve as the point of contact for the program office and prepare report* for the Program Executive.
3.Conduct analysis and assist with coordination of the schedule, timelines, procurement, staffing and budget of the program as assigned.
4.Prepare financial documents, operational and financial rejsorts or budgets related to tho program and associated projects.
5.Facilitate scheduling of meetings to allow the team to plan projects, receive updates, assign tasks, discuss challenges and remain coordinated throughout the duration of the program.
6.Collaborate with key personnel to develop and update project plans Including information such as objectives, technologies, objectives, schedules, funding and staffing.
7.Facilitate and provide documentation required for various engagements.
8.Coordinate all communication, secure resources and facilitate meeting venues.
9.Identify project needs such as staff, finance and other resources through review of objectives and schedules.
10.Convene and communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.

BENEFITS:

•Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and die Employee pays 50%).

•Housing and Upkeep allowance of P309.00 per month.
