PROCUREMENT OVERSIGHT UNIT SPECIALIST X 2

The role is responsible for playing a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of the procurement process, promoting good governance, and contributing to BOL’s overall success. The role acts as an internal assurance control that ensures procurement activities align with BOL objectives while maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.

Key Performance Areas

• Timely procurement of goods, services and works
• Management of Procurement Oversight Records
• Compliance monitoring with Public Procurement Act, Public Procurement Regulations and  BOL internal rules, policies and processes.
• Risk management
• Adherence to customer service standards
• Quality Assurance.

Position Requirements

Education:    Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Management, CIPS full membership.

Any Engineering Qualification will be an added advantage.

Professional/Technical: Full membership to the Chartered Institute of Supply.

Experience: Minimum Seven (7) years’ experience in Procurement, of which 5 (five) should have been gained in the procurement of large-scale.
