Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established to achieve the Government’s economic objectives of ensuring the security of fuel supply, managing government strategic fuel reserves, and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. We are looking for outstanding and driven individuals to take up these exciting and challenging roles:
PROCUREMENT OVERSIGHT SPECIALIST – PROJECTS
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Procurement Oversight, the position is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all aspects of the oversight activities in in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and applicable national and international standards.
Key Performance Areas
- Effective pre-adjudication, adjudication and recommendation of tender awards.
- Compliance to the public procurement laws and related and regulatory framework
- Customer service delivery
- Tender Management
Position Requirements
Education: A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain and Materials Management (CIPS level 6) or equivalent or Business or related degree.
Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in the supply chain management and demonstrable experience in handling procurement for major projects in large scale industries.
