VACANCY: PRINCIPAL PROJECT OFFICER(ANTI-CORRUPTION)-D2
Applications are invited from highly suitable qualified citizen candidates for the position of Principal Project Officer in the Ministry for State President. Department of Corporate Services.

SALARY SCALE: D2 (P320.952.00-P353 928.00) per annum.
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum.

BENEFITS:
• Optional contributory medical aid scheme with the Botswana Public Officers’ Medical Aid Scheme (BPOMAS) – Government pays 50% and employee pays 50%).
• Contributory Pension Scheme (Government contributes 15% and employee contributes 5%).

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Sciences or related field.

EXPERIENCE
Applicants should have a minimum often (10) years relevant post qualification experience of which two (2) years should have been served at D3 or equivalent in a Parastatal/Private Sector.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To monitor the Anti-Corruption initiatives within the Ministry.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
1 .Reviews and advises on Anti-Corruption Unit and Corruption Prevention Committee reports.
2 .Familiarises self with trends of corruption and identifies best practice to tackle the matter.
3 .Submits development areas for Anti-Corruption Unit staff.
4 .Monitors the implementation of annual work plans for the Anti-Corruption Unit.
5 .Monitors the implementation of Corruption Prevention Committee programmes and projects.
6 .Monitors the development of publicity material on Anti-corruption issues.
7 .Undertakes any other related duties as required to meet exigencies of the service.
