FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above positions in the Ministry of Health Headquarters.

SALARY: D3 (P279, 660 – P308, 328 per annum)

BENEFITS:

LEAVE: 30 working days per annum.

QUALIFICATIONS. Any Health related Degree or Community Development or Adult Education with an added qualification In Project Management.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience, of which at least two (2) years must have been served in Project Management.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To direct and support the implementation of tobacco control intervention project by NGOs.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  1. Ensure successful delivery of the overall tobacco control intervention projects against key performance indicators.
  2. Track the development of the project and ensure that the project schedule and scope are
  3. Assign tasks to team members and help them understand the project milestones and deliverables.
  4. Organize and manage project teams, offering direction and assessing results.
  5. Coordinate the allocation of resources to ensure availability of resources needed.
  6. Mentor and coach Non – Governmental Organizations (NGOs) on implementation of
  7. Coordinate and plan section activities that enhance implementation of the project.
  8. Undertake any other related duties as may be assigned by Management for the exigency of the Civil
