EXTERNAL – PRINCIPAL ESTATE OFFICER I – D2, VACANCY CIRCULAR NO 29 OF 2024
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Botswana citizens for the above mentioned post tenable in Kweneng District Council.
SALARY SCALE: D2 (P337 008.00 – P371 628.00 per annum)
LEAVE: 30 working days
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Estate Management
EXPERIENCE: At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience of which two (2) years must have been satisfactorily served as Principal Estate Officer II at D3 salary scale, or an equivalence of (P24 471 – P26 978 per month).
REQUIREMENTS: Must be a registered member of Real Estate Advisory Council (Attach copy of Membership Certificate)
BENEFITS: Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme; Government pays 50%, Employee pays 50%. Contributory Pension Fund Scheme; Government contributes 15%, Employee 5% of basic salary.
MAIN PURPOSE OFTHE JOB
To supervise, manage and direct the Estate Management Division.

DUTIES

• Manages and Direct the Estate Management Division to ensure that the operations of the Division are done effectively and efficiently.
• Supervises and guides subordinates in accordance with set standards.
• Supervises valuation of Private Properties to ensure that it is in accordance with statutes and set standards.
• Provides professional advice on property management and valuation to key stakeholders.
• Supervises allocation of staff houses to ensure that it is done accordingly.
• Undertakes any other related duties as directed by Management
