Job Description

PRIEST URGENTLY REQUIRED: Botswana Hindu Society urgently requires the service of a qualified and experienced PRIEST to cater for the needs of the Hindu Society and the temple based in Gaborone.

The incumbent should have a bachelor’s Degree and a good hold over the Sanskrit language, both writing and speaking, and, be a total vegetarian & teetotaler having work experience in the performance of Pujas (Hindu Prayers), Havans, Yagnas. The candidate must be willing to work scattered and prolonged hours. Good knowledge of Sanskrit (Indian ancient language) and ability to interpret epics to the devotees. Must be able to give discourses to devoted Hindu Groups on regular basis.

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in similar positions.
