DESCRIPTION 
Kalcon(Pty) Ltd is an established, locally registered company that is registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board to undertake projects in the following fields: Construction, Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Roads, Bulk Earthworks, Earth Dams, Bridges, Airports, Infrastructure, General Civil Engineering Projects, Buildings and Entertainment Complexes. We are therefore looking for suitably qualified and experienced Botswana Citizens to fill in the vacant position of:
PLANT MANAGER
The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the Plant and equipment across the country as well as develop processes that will maximize quality, safety and productivity.
Requirements:
1. Must have in – depth Technical knowledge in diagnosing defects, Maintenance and Repair of Earth Moving Equipment
2. Must have a minimum of ten (1 0) years experience in leading technical improvements and management of multiple site workshops in Mining Contracts
3. Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budget, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources
4. Strong team building, decision — making and people management skills.
5. Must have excellent Leadership, communication, negotiation, and numerical skills.
6. Must have excellent computer skills (MS Excel, MS, MS Word, Internet, and Internet).
7. Knowledgeable with regard to production rates is essential.
Candidate must be prepared and willing to travel anywhere within Botswana and could be placed on any of KALCON’s projects if needed.
Minimum Qualification:
Trade Test qualification in Heavy Plant Mechanic / Equivalent.
